Welcome

You may not be ready for me but I was always ready for you…
- Your future self

I’m here to:

  1. Share with you the what and the why of Shadow Work

  2. Help you decide if you’re ready and willing to do this work

As we take a little trip through this mini-info course you’ll have a better understanding of the impact shadow work can have on you and your life and the five pillars you use in this work with me. The interesting part is that some people will know the benefits and will still be afraid of taking this journey because…

You still have to do the work.

Your truth and all the possibilities of what is in store for you lie within. And that is what will lead you to find your people and foster the interdependent community you truly desire.

Core is consistent. Actionable items may differ.

The core of what you’re doing and where you’re going stays the same. This includes the shift from hyper-independence to interdependence, core values (we all have our own), our desire to be in community, etc.

Actionable items are what you do to move toward being a part of an interdependent community. This includes the actions you take to work on your own healing to better be in partnership with others, like journaling. At the bottom of each section of this course, you will find journaling prompts to do your own self-exploration. Some of you will want a notebook and a pen and some of you will voice record your verbal processing. This is all personal preference.

The beauty and benefit of the Shadow Work we’re doing is that there is always room to get different answers to the questions being asked depending on when it’s posed. So for the sake of offering an example let’s go with this…

You’ve been working through the prompts in Who Are You? and discovering parts of yourself that you haven’t encountered in what feels like forever…maybe you’ve never met them before. You’re questioning who you are and if you chose this version or if it is an ill-fitting cloak that doesn’t belong to you. When you realize that you don’t want to take this version with you, you thank it for its service and release it. And it changes your light.

It gets brighter. Bolder. Softer. Stronger. And it brings forth the question “Who is that?

You softly smile and think, “Right?? I know, I’m into me too. I’m still meeting me so let me get back to it…”

What does it mean to explore who you can be out loud and what that version of you craves?

What is possible when you let yourself exist out loud without hindrances?
